Everything You Need to Know About Renting Dresses with Kshan
The standard rental duration is 3 days:
- Day 1: Pick up the dress after 12 PM.
- Day 2: Use the dress for your event.
- Day 3: Return the dress before 12 PM.
Payment is required in full in advance, including a refundable security deposit. Accepted modes of payment are:
- Online transactions
- UPI
- Cash
Yes, customers are encouraged to inspect the dress upon receipt. Any damages, stains, or marks must be reported immediately to our staff to avoid disputes.
No modifications or alterations are allowed on the dress.
The security deposit amount varies based on the dress's price and rental amount. It will be refunded after the dress is returned and inspected for damages and cleanliness.
Yes, exchanges and event date changes are possible, subject to availability and a charge. The new outfit must be of equal or higher value than the original order. The outfit or event date can only be changed once that too before 31 days of event day.
In case of damage or stains beyond normal wear and tear, the repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit. If the dress is lost or damaged beyond repair, the full retail value of the dress will be charged, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
Yes, if the dress is returned late:
- 25% of the rent will be charged per day for each dress.
- Rs. 400 per day will be charged for accessories.
- Cancellations within 31 days of rental date: Full booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee, but the security deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellations more than 31 days before rental date: 50% of the booking amount will be retained, and the remaining security deposit will be refunded.
Dress availability is subject to prior reservations. We recommend booking the dress in advance. If a booked dress is damaged and unavailable for your date, a replacement will be provided, which may vary slightly from the original dress. Our team will coordinate with you if this occurs.
